The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to the team, particularly a senior Partner who is a global leader in their field. The role encompasses both traditional Legal Assistant tasks and Personal Assistant duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing international travel arrangements, including itineraries and schedules.
- Coordinating and reviewing podcasts, including ensuring accurate closed captions.
- Organizing and managing events, including creating and sending personalized invitations.
- Handling complex billing processes, including standard, retainer, and secondment bills.
- Managing the Partner’s busy calendar and prioritizing competing demands.
- Preparing time analysis reports and managing team newsletters.
- Opening and closing files and maintaining accurate matter management.
- Supporting the Partner and team with general administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years of Legal Assistant experience or 4+ years of secretarial experience in professional services.
- Experience supporting a very busy Partner or equivalent senior stakeholder.
- Exceptional calendar management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and proven confidentiality.
- Resilience, confidence, and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Proven stakeholder management experience, with the ability to make decisions and stand their ground when required.
- Previous experience managing international travel arrangements and events.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime during busy periods.
