The Role
As a Legal Assistant in the M&A team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level support to at least two Partners and senior stakeholders.
- Managing billing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Anticipating Partner needs and taking proactive steps to address them.
- Making confident decisions and handling tasks with minimal direction.
- Drafting and formatting documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Effectively managing calendars, appointments, and meetings.
- Collaborating with the Executive Assistant to the Australian Managing Partner to ensure seamless operations.
- Delivering impeccable attention to detail and maintaining high standards in all aspects of work.

The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
- Proven billing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to support 2+ Partners or senior stakeholders.
- Confidence in decision-making and the ability to anticipate needs effectively.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Suite applications.
- Impeccable attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
