We are pleased to be representing an international law firm and culture leader in Australian private practice as they search for an experienced Practice Manager within Melbourne.
The successful incumbent will be a part of the Operations team and manage the wider Corporate Practice. This will include:
- Acting as people manager to the business support team which includes regular check-ins, performance feedback, expectation and capability setting;
- Rostering and allocating work to ensure seamless flow of administration coverage across the practice;
- Oversight, analysis and improvement of the workflow processes and service quality amongst the administrative function;
- Liaise with the Operations Manager and national Operations Team to highlight any potential challenges and streamline support nationally.

The Requirements:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Experience in a legal setting either currently or in a previous position;
- A solid background in professional services management of a mid-sized (20+ people) is essential;
- A confident relationship manager with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to engage effectively with high level stakeholders;
- A background in HR is not essential but is desirable;
- Strong communication and organisation skills with high attention to detail.
