The Responsibilities:
- Diary management and arranging meetings for the team
- Co-ordinating seminars and client events
- Digital dictation, copy typing and general document amendments
- Organizing travel arrangements and itineraries
- Inbox management and email correspondence
- Amending and proofreading legal documents
- Filing and maintaining electronic and paper records
- Timesheet entry and monthly billing
- Liaising with clients via email, telephone and face-to-face;
- Formatting documents in house-style
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations
- Filing, photocopying and other ad-hoc administration tasks;
- Maintaining client information using InterAction
The Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced legal environment and be able to provide top-notch administrative support.
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in an international law firm is preferred
- Experience within a local law firm or professional services also considered
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
