The Role
As a Legal Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Billing management – processing invoices, tracking estimates, and assisting with financial reporting.
- Matter management – ensuring smooth matter progression and providing administrative support to the legal team.
- Diary and calendar management – supporting partners with scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting preparation.
- Document preparation – drafting and formatting legal correspondence, reports, and client communications.
- General administrative support – maintaining accurate records, liaising with clients, and contributing to the efficiency of the practice.

The Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-5 years’ experience as a primary Legal Assistant in a busy practice group.
- Previous experience supporting at least one Partner in a legal setting.
- Billing experience and a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Previous matter management experience, with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with a professional and team-oriented mindset.
