The Role
As a Legal Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
Legal Support
- Assisting with matter management and document production.
- Formatting Word documents and ensuring alignment with company-approved styles.
- Reviewing audio transcriptions from the legal team.
General Administrative & Office Support
- Providing administrative support across the team, including senior management.
- Handling printing, scanning, filing, and other general office tasks.
- Coordinating travel arrangements for team members.
- Assisting with reception duties as required.
- Supporting the preparation of tender response submissions, pitch materials, and capability statements.
Events & Functions
- Assisting in the coordination of internal and external events.
- Participating in office-wide initiatives, including monthly training sessions, morning teas, and team-building activities.

The Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years’ Legal Assistant or administrative experience (legal experience is preferred but not essential).
- Experience supporting at least one Partner or senior stakeholder.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- A team-oriented mindset, willing to step in and contribute wherever needed.
